My name is Collin Smar, and I founded DALZO with one belief:
Progress is earned.
DALZO was built through endurance training, but it isn't just about racing. It's about choosing the difficult path when the easier one is always available.
I grew up in Michigan and have spent years training in Florida. Long miles, early mornings, heat, fatigue, and the days you don't feel like showing up have taught me far more than the easy workouts ever could.
That's what DALZO represents.
This isn't a brand built around motivation.
Motivation comes and goes.
What matters is what you do when it isn't there.
Every product is developed the same way it should be used—through real training. It gets tested, adjusted, and tested again until it earns its place. If it doesn't perform when conditions are difficult, it doesn't carry the DALZO name.
Over time, I've realized something that applies far beyond endurance sports.
Everything in life is difficult.
The question isn't whether you'll struggle.
It's which struggle you're willing to choose.
The struggle of discipline.
Or the struggle of regret.
There will always be people who tell you your goals are unrealistic, that you're wasting your time, or that you should settle for what's comfortable.
Those opinions don't cross the finish line for you.
They don't do the work for you.
And they don't decide what you're capable of.
You do.
DALZO isn't reserved for elite athletes.
It's for the people who refuse to let comfort decide who they become.
Whether your goal is to finish your first 5K, qualify for a world championship, or simply become stronger than the excuses telling you to quit, you're welcome here.
Because progress has never belonged to the most talented.
It belongs to the people willing to keep going.
